A thorough and unbiased investigative process will begin to gather facts, apply requisite legal analysis, and determine root cause analysis if misconduct is found. All investigations will strive to protect the reputation, and identity of the reporters, witnesses and subject employees, as well as the integrity of the investigation. This does not mean that every report will be substantiated or that every outcome will meet each employee’s desired outcome or expectations. It does mean that the investigative process is fair, consistent and without bias, and so are the outcomes.

Any charitable donation using OneTrust funds or on behalf of OneTrust requires approval though the Charitable Donations form.
OneTrust supports many charitable causes and views this as part of our social responsibility. However, we must be mindful that even charitable acts can pose a risk of becoming a bribe. Charitable Donations must be made transparently and to reputable organizations that align with OneTrust's values and ethical standards. No donation, personal or on behalf of OneTrust, shall be offered or made with the intent to influence a business decision or gain an improper advantage.

Yes, but you must disclose this activity. These activities may present potential or actual conflicts of interest. Whether your secondary source of income may create a conflict of interest depends on the type of company you are working for, the type of work you are doing, the number of hours you spend on this activity, and the resources you are using to do it. You can disclose such information through the Secondary/Additional Employment form.

If you or a close relative serves in an official, government capacity at any level, you may have a potential or actual conflict if, for example, you are a decision maker or can influence procurement. You must disclose any second job or governmental interest so that OneTrust is aware and the potential conflict can be managed. You can disclose such information through the Secondary/Additional Employment form.

You should use the Internal Personal Relationship form to disclose your relationship. It doesn’t necessarily mean there is an actual conflict of interest. Whether it is an actual conflict depends on your position and your partner/family member’s position at OneTrust and the potential reporting lines. You should also have your partner/family member disclose this relationship.

Yes. OneTrust has a comprehensive Third Party Risk Management program that provides due diligence to be conducted on all the company’s third party providers. To onboard a new supplier or vendor, submit a Vendor Management Request.

Yes. OneTrust complies with all United States, European Union, United Kingdom and other sanctions laws and regulations in all jurisdictions where OneTrust conducts business.

Employees must only use company-approved accounts, services, and devices for work-related activities. Pre-approval is required before employees may access sensitive customers and their systems, for example, gambling, pornographic or firearms manufacturers.

To ensure data security, confidentiality, and regulatory compliance, employees are prohibited from using third-party messaging applications, including personal device SMS applications (i.e. texts), for example, WhatsApp, WeChat, Telegram, or Signal to conduct business-related communications. There may be exceptions to such means of communicating OneTrust business, which may be granted on a case-by-case basis.
